What on earth does this mean? Well, in all challenges, there are two aspects: the inner and the outer.

i.e. to get fit, you have to figure out what gets you fit, and then do it. Regularly 🙂

However, if you believe either or both of:

  • it’s too hard
  • you don’t have the time

then you won’t do it.

That’s the inner game. Sometimes it’s even more important than the external world. As you can see from above, if your beliefs aren’t helpful, you’ll never even get started.

Some aspects of the inner game:

  • beliefs
  • values
  • possibility
  • deservability
  • consequences
  • either/or choices
